Vida Bachatera started out of a passion for dancing, latin music was something deep in my soul that manifested in a desire to learn to dance Salsa, as I looked at great dancers over the years, covering events for a few Magazines I used to publish; Waz-Up Magazine and Later La Rocketa, I always was fascinated to see amazing people dance their hearts out!.... Umong the ones that stood out was Josie Negia who made dancing sexy! The Vasquez Brothers who made the event pop with the Rumberos, and boy did they know how to dance! in a Time where dancing meant you had to dress up or you don't get in. Who can forget Leonardo & Dinora who elevated the dance expectations and many others of the Los Angeles Dance scene..
With so much style a new genre had begun known as bachata, at first it was like this thing no one ever heard of, and soon became a new sensation. Originating from the Dominican Republic, now known as "Dominican Style Bachata, It has been Said that the Originator is Juan Luis Guerra with his hit called Bachata Rose Followed by the rebirth from K.O.B. Romeo Santos and a group called Aventura. Now comes Urban Bachata a new base beat with modern appeal, Soon followed by many others
